Funny noise on my computer

Hello,
My computer shut down and cannot turn on. It give a funny sound in the manitor. I use a paint brush to clean ii but it is just the same.

* Unplug everything and plug it back it in. If there are any on/off switches on the back of the computer, switch them.
* Try using a different monitor -- maybe that's the part that blew. (If you don't have one, ask a friend.)
* If this doesn't work, take the computer for a short "walk," sometimes moving it around lightly will help.

Good luck. If your computer did something to the monitor, I'd be worried. But probably only one of the two is in trouble, hopefully just the monitor, or neither.
