Bluetooth: cellphone request failed.

Hello,

My laptop is the Acer Aspire 9110 and it has already installed the following bluetooth device, WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software 5.0.1.1500.
Since I got my laptop, one year ago, I've been using Bluetooth without problem. I own a LG KG800 - White Chocolate cellphone. Three days ago I tried to connect to my laptop to send some files but I received a warning which said; "Connection Failed".
I've search on Google of what to do but couldn't find anything about this.
I'm able to send data from my laptop to my cell phone but I'm unable to send data from my cell phone to laptop since the requests fail all the time.

Maybe someone knows what's the problem and how I fix it?

Ps: I don't know if this matter but I'm using Windows XP SP3.

Configuration: Windows XP SP3

I had the same problem. I have Toshiba Bluetooth stack. I went to C:/programfiles/toshiba/bluetooth toshiba stack and opened a file named BTSETING. Just clicked default. It started working normal.

I have just had the same problem, but with my Samsung Tocco, and HP Pavillion Laptop.

I have used bluetooth to send my photos and to my laptop for ages, then all of a sudden, it finds the device but when it goes to send it says "Sending Failed"

I got round it though..

I sent the photo to another phone, and was then able to send it from that phone to my laptop, via Bluetooth, though it was strange that it would let one phone but not another.

I am also having the same problem.

I checked it by sending files from different mobile brands n getting the prob with LG n samsung nly...

Bluetoote write file failed froom my laptop. It can be done 2 weeks ago.

Some setting is out.

Pls let me know the step to repair it

Hi,

I've N72 mobile and Dell Studio laptop..first time when i send from my mobile to laptop it sends fine..but when i try again, it's saying send failed,but still my mobile is recongnising my laptop...

Please suggest me if anybody having solution for this..

Note: i"ve checked all the check boxes in bluetooth settings window.

My prob is my laptop finds the device (phone) then starts 2 send then send bar vanishes nothing else happens
