C.S. 1.6 problem

Hello,
i have a problem when i try to play cs 1.6 , ill try to connect to a server that i can connect to.
and it says server is using protocol 47, and my client is protocol 48, how do i fix this so i can play on the server?

Configuration: Windows XP pro sp3, 4gb ram corsair, dual geforce 8800GTS SLI, 500gb, 3.0ghz 64

U want to get back your 48 to 47?
If its that,u must reinstall cs i think.
Maybe its wrong.

Actually this is a big problem, the protocol cannot be downgraded without uninstalling halflife and all its mods (CS, DoD, Team Fortress, Deathmatch...), and even uninstalling all of them its hard to keep the protocol downgraded.

The best thing to do is to upgrade the servers, its fast (about 10 min) and easy (substitute one archive), but people don't upgrade 'cause they don't want to...
