Hello,

I had an old pc which I were using properly but since this morning it is died and I was wondering if I could use my second pc to try to get back the data. Do you think that a usb caddie will do things alright for me ?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hey there,

Yes you can do that, just disconnect the hard drive from the first pc and be sure to set the jumper at the back of your hard disk to slave and then connect it to your second pc and you should be able to get back the data on the first hard drive.
