I only see screen wallpaper no icons ...

Hello,when i turnon my pc i only see screen wallpaper no icons,no response to keyboard,no right click,everything is not working even when i enter in safe mode i only get a black screen and no taskmanager even.the only thing it left me is safe mode with command promote.please help me ,twice i solve the problem by formmating i am tired of this thing atleast tell me what virus is it?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 1.5.0.2

Hi There have you got the original Windows disc
If so do a system repair, with this you will not loose any of your data.

I have the same problem i have to use windows task manager to start up all my stuff. ITS TAKES FOREVER!!!!. if you know anything about solving this troubleshooter please send me a email at tindothan@hotmail.com all help will be deeply appreciated.

Right click desktop & choose personalise. Choose display then display settings. If selection for second screen is set to "extend my desktop" change it to "duplicate displays", Apply & save changes.

Works for Windows 7 & Vista, maybe something similar on XP. What you don't want is "extend my desktop"
