I tried exactly that, but it tells me that an error occured while setting up the driver. I have a dual-core x64 AMD Vista and the driver doesn't seem to be compatible with x64!

Any ideas?

Hope someone already helped you - I also have AMD 64 and the method works perfectly. The only problem is to find Demo 32 Instal Shield - also you need "normally" restart CD but then it will install perfectly.

I did all that and it helped, but I had to do one more thing, maybe because I'm running 64-bit Vista? Couldn't solve the driver issue 'til I downloaded this: "Creative WebCam Live! x64 driver 2.00.06.0000" which is from 2005 and presumably 64-bit XP? Anyway, it worked and the VF-0050 is working. Here's the page link where you can find that driver: http://support.creative.com/... Live!&subCatName=Live! Cam/WebCam Series&CatName=Web+Cameras

Again, the link didn't hold up. Email me at ben@boltedbooks.com and I'll email you the link to the page where you can find the 64-bit driver if you need it.
