Hello,
i am using bsnl dataone type 1 modem[ZTE ZXDSL 831AII],
I have connected it through usb to my windows xp desktop
Now i want it to be connected to my windows vista premium laptop through lan ,
so that i can useInternet on both computer and laptop simonteniously?
PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

Dude i dont thing ur concept is write bcoz.b4 u connet to the internet u need dial the modem through a shourtcut icon..this not a switch which will give u full duplex connecion ....... its only modulat the signalbut u can try
just plug in the rj on laptop n modem an just open the ie an c....

or u can use switch or another lan card in ur desktop to connect in laptop

1) XP: Open "Connect to" menu, "Manage all network connections", choose your bsnl USB connection, open its properties, go to "advanced tab", put a checkmark on "Internet Connection Sharing", choose "Local area network" as "sharing for"
1) Connect your XP and Vista through a patch cord cable
2) Vista: try internet explorer to check the setup

Hello,
I am using BSNL, EV-DO- ( AC-8700) Data Card. Whenever I go to download something using BitComet, it ask me to check firewell and NAT Router. For this I can not access the speed. Please suggest and give solution.
