i m a H/w & N/w Eng.
i want 2 know how can i make my 4 gb pen drive such as win xp bootable

so i can install my Win xp without my cd drive

plzz send any artical on my mail

Step 1 :
- Download : UltraISO
HP Tool
WinXP Bootable
Step 2 :
- Setup UltraISO & HP Tool Utility,
Step 3:
- Format Your Pen Drive by HP Tool,
Step 4:
- Open UltraISO Utilility:
- Click file menu,
- Choose Open,
- Choose location, where WinXP bootable file is Located,
- Choose Write Disk Image from Drop down menu,
- Click Yes, then Close.
Step 5:
- Insert Bootable Windows CD,
- Copy all file to Pen Drive,
Step 6:
- Restart your computer.
Step 7:
- Open your BIOS,
- Make Setting, Like : 1st Boot from: Removable Disk,
- Save & Exit from BIOS,
Step 8:
- Press Any Key from Boot.....
- Now you can do by formatting system of Windows Bootable CD.

At First you have create a image of window xp booteble cd's by power iso.
After extract this file your pendrive.
and change your first boot divice from bios (removel boot divice )
now you can format your pc.

Install Windows XP from a flash drive

Please note that not all PCs can boot from a USB drive. First check your BIOS to verify that you can.
Also - You can't use a flash drive larger than 2 GB - see this web page for install instructions:

You can't use a 4 GB drive. You MUST use a 2 GB drive

People why do u even need a pendrive to boot xp , i think its a total wast of time ,Booting from an external Hard DIsk is optional but from pendrive .What do u h ur laptop or desktop for. Processing the data n info would take time from a pendrive its not like HDD which has layers of disk with certain rpm where disk access time is measured in milliseconds. Pendrive would slow down everything i.e., IMO. Think about it

Well, it's simple really. Many people are getting into Netbooks of late (as I am typing on one now). Netbooks do not come with an optical drive such as a CD or DVD player, however they are ripe with USB ports. Unless one has a portable CD/DVD drive, the other option is to use a flash drive to boot. Also, Netbooks using SSD techn) ology have much smaller drives (mine is only 8GB), making a reinstall of miniWindowsXP or another OS that takes less space a huge benefit. Instead of questioning users motives on the problem, why not try adding to the solution?
