Find someone who knows how to correctly set-up the BIOS. You erased all the settings when you removed the battery.

Hi....thats not a big problem at all...thats only the error that comes when the system in BIOS have no particulars from which device (HardDisk) it have to get data...so it will search like that...u can overcome that by relacing cmos battery,...another reason mght be..the loose contact of hardisk power supply.so the harddisk is not recognized ..replace that one also..i got same problem and iresolverd that like this only

Hey. I had a similar problem when I put together a new computer. My computer gave that message and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I played around with it a lot more and finally found the solution. If you just built a computer and are receiving this message, it is very possible that your hard drive ide connecter cable and your cd rom ide connecters are mixed up. Make sure your cd rom connecter is beneath your hard drive.
