Codecs in aspire one

Hello,
what program do i download to be able to see avi in my aspireone?
i have downloaded few but none works...
and how do i change my desktop to standar?

I can't play a video file. What's wrong? ShowYou probably need codecs. The one I use is called the K-Lite Codec Pack which includes a nice bunch of codecs. You might also want to try VLC Media Player which features a host of codecs built-in.

Try to use "gstreamer" packages and vlc media player,
you can find them in your package manager
