Hello,
i need to activate windows in order to get into my comp but even though i am hard wired to an internet connection it wont let me log on . even when i try by phone i dont get an id number for them to activate me.is it posible there are no internet drivers loaded on my motherboard?how can i over ride the activation process and go directly to my home page?so i can fix my internet connection?

Configuration: Windows xp profetionall
Internet Explorer 7.0

You need to reboot in safe mode ( reboot and press F8 )

Start -> Run -> and tipe: %systemroot%\system32

locate two files: wpa.dbl and wpa.bak and rename it with wpa_old.dbl and wpa_old.bak

now reboot in normal windows.
