Second hard drive not recognized

Hello,

I have a Mac PRO with 2 hard drives....
few days ago my entire system froze so I took it to Mac and they told me I had to reformat the HD and reinstall the OS, at the same time during the freeze my 2nd HD has gone MIA and not seen anywhere.

so after formating the 1st HD and installing the OS, I still cant see the 2nd HD...

anyone has any tips or ideas on how i can fix this....?

Dear Sir,

Please consider plugging it instead of the CD ROM drive for having it working correctly.
