Hello,
I would like some help about access cause i think i am going mad ;-)
Is it possible to link a specific cell in Access to another specific cell in Excel?
I have created a database in Access with my students' names and classes all these years and i want with double-clicking on someone's name, the correct excel file to be opened with the student's grades.
E.g: i have now 3 columms: John Markous, Monday 10.00-12.00, 2002-2003.
I want at least, with macros i suppose, to open the exact excel file where i have the John Markous' s grades
stored.

Thank you a lot!

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.3

Well, a round about sort of way of doing it would be to add another field to your student table that is an attachment type. Then you would have to include the particular Excel file as the attachment. This could be a little rough at first to enter it in, but at least you only have to do it once a year! :)
