Hi...as far as I know you can't...tried and tried. However, you can use a free service called Sight Speed which is really good and is pc to mac compatible. Give it a shot...I've found it works really well. Has cam chat, messaging, video e mail and type chat features.

Sup dudes.
You can't. See how stupid mac is? Does even freaking think about us.
But to webcam on Microsoft Messenger you should go to your local best buy and have them make change it into a Microsoft. Or you can have them get you a new version to support the feature.

Your Welcome.

You can easily use your webcam at msn, if you have the latest version of macintosh (Leopard or Snow Leopard(coming soon) you can use bootcamp to start windows xp....

Macs are totally overrated. I am using one now and not impressed..they may not have any trouble with viruses but the net to computer controls are not as seamless as windows, that Pages software is for the everyday user i.e 99percent of computer users inferior to word; itunes simply is not as user friendly as apple would imagine it is, and what is the point of isight if it can only be used on yahoo and, alledgedly, google mail? I dont get it. THe emperor have very little clothes.

Mac's are not overrated if your using them in the course of a business and or in designing/creation/manipulation of music, photos and movie's, yes macs have a hard interface to get used to if you have only been using windows.

As for personal use its your choice ultimately, there are pro's and con's to both but the simple reason to why you can't use your cam on a mac would be because msn IS windows software and to my knowledge the mac version has been manipulated to run on mac's.

Best bet is to make your iMac dual boot, this means that if you have the Mac OS X installed you can install Windows XP/Vista (Double check with Vista) and choose at the boot what OS you would like to use, you can do this after installing it by holding the ALT key when you turn the power on and choosing the other Hard Drive (sometimes called untitled1.)

Installing windows is possible as iMacs have the power to but make sure you know what you are doing or it could cause problems and a copy for windows can be brought from Microsoft themselves for around £100 when i last checked.

Actually you can, I do it all the time. As soon as you login to your msn email, go to the bar at the top and press help, then type in VIDEO, then click on start video call! Very easyy.....

To install msn messenger on your i mac, you have to buy the microsoft package. This also includes microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and entourage. It's quite expensive, but is the only way to get these programs on your imac. The version of msn that comes with the back is quite an old version but unfortunately its the only one availabe for macs. You can buy the package in any apple store. Otherwise you can't get msn messenger on your apple pc, they're not compatible. It is also impossible to use your mac's camera on messenger as msn is not made for the apple computer. You can however use your camera on apple's iChat that should come free with the computer.

Hey, I had the same issue, and after browsing the web, I found 'aMSN'. Just type it in to google, has all the features of normal msn plus the webcam works for macs which is a huge bonus.

Hope that helps.
