Windows XP home edition disk

Hello,

My PC came without a Windows XP Home
disk and I need to reformat the hard drive, can anyone assist/help,

Is this a brand name PC like Dell or Gateway. If so, they have a hidden partition on hard drive with a copy of the software that is loaded. Sometimes you can burn your own copy of windows fro that data.
