Bully game crash

Hello,
i installed bully on my pc without problem!i didn't need to crack it!
but during the game when i enter the main building to go to the principal office my computer restart!pl z can anyone help me im really desperate!!!!!!!:(

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.17

Ya i reinstalled it but wat i need is a <<no dvd fix>> but the problem is that i dont no where to have it!!

It crashes on all computers, i hav 4gb ram and it still crashes just as much when i play it with 1gb... it happens with all versions of the game in cluding xbox 360 version, they had tu realease a anti-crash patch for it, just look for the patch online...

I have same problem just when i start game it never loads it can load forever i wated for 30min but nothing so we have to wait patch to relase....

These stupid fuckers release the game without fixing its problem.
I have the same problem as you, Game stuck at principle's office and it loads for ever.
The funny think is when I inistalled it in my old computer and it worked just fine.

Some people at gamespot forum say that you need to install the latest nvidia display and .NET framework 3.5

I was having random crashes so often that I couldn't even pass the first mission and save the game.
I looked for some advice and the guys at gamefaqs suggested to:

- Update your graphics driver
- install the new framework 3.5

I thought: "Yeah, like that will help with anything... ", buit I was so bored that I actually followed their advice.

To my honest amazement it DID work. Now I can play for a few hours without a crash (occasional CTD happens, but its RARE, like once every 4 hours or so).

Actually I have to (sadly) correct myself.
The game was running smoothly until the "Last minute shopping" mission in chapter 2. Without spoilers I'll just say that this mission involves going to the town and entering a series of locations.
It seems the game is suffering from a bad case of memory leak - the more locations you visit, the more your RAM is strained. This mission requires so many locations to be visited that it actually causes my game to crash every single time I try it.
So, I'll either have to wait for someone to make a fix, Rockstar to make a patch, buy more RAM or...

...does anyone have a savegame AFTER the "Last minute shopping" mission? I'd be very gratefull if someone would upload it to some free uploading site and share a link.

Ok well I had this same problem but what I did was:
Download Dxwnd, and connect Bully to it, now do that mission and it wont crash, neither the game will crash that often anymore, you guys should try it too!
And one other action I did before that was: Run > command 'msconfig' > boot.ini > advanced options > maxmem (=1024, or the amount of RAM you have.)

Guys i tried downloadin the torrent of this gmae ndi installed it...
But after game just wont start!!!
it says tht there is something wrong....
i tried installin it again...
but the same thing just happens again!!!

THE ANSWER IS WINDOWS 7.IT DIDN WORK IN MY XP.BUT SMOOTHLY IN WINDOWS 7.FINE.NO TROBLES.
