Picture files after Hirens Boot CD

Hello,
after i used the Hirens Boot CD, i used something called HDD Regenerator on that, and it fixed my comp, however the files were deleted, but ive found out that i can recover them, and i have recovered alot of them, BUT they have shrunk in size and i dont know how to get them normal again, anyone know what to do?

The picture files can only be replaced if u have the pictures in a backup disc or even have to scan them again. Don't keep regenerating the harddrive because it will fry it.
