Uninstalling Ubuntu

Hi all,
I am asking for help here- i have a Dell machine(bought it second hand and had windows) then i came and installed ubuntu-complete erasure(i lost windows OS during installation). but with time, i have not liked ubuntu and would like to revert to windows. can anyone help?

You need to delete the linux partitions on the hard drive before you try to install Windows. Google "Partition managers" to find programs that can do this.

Hi :)

just use gnome partition editor to format your hard drive on NTFS
then put on the windows cd and make current install ;))

you can find gnome partition editor "gparted" on live cd here
(you must burn the iso cd)

or on the start menu of your ubuntu live cd

You can uninstall Ubuntu by going to settings and press uninstall and find it

I have a dell mini 910 with ubuntu. i bought a wireless lexmark printer that can't be installed on this system. so ihave an xp disc and can install it on my mini but i need to lose ubuntu. better the devil you know
