Window xp:stoped mouse and keyboard

Hello,
when i try to repair window xp,the following question appear "do you want to continue installing the software for this hardware?".and i answered no.After window xp installation was finished,the mouse and keyboard stoped working.what's the problem of it?

H i there,

Reboot from windows installation cd and repair again and select install driver next time to have the issue fixed,
