Extending External Hard Drive Partition

Hello,

I used Vista's disk management to partition my 750GB external hard drive so that I would have a 32GB Fat32 formatted drive that my Xbox 360 would be able to recognize. After discovering that the Xbox would only recognize one partitioned FAT32 drive, I went back to extend/resize the hard drive's original partition with the unallocated memory I had already freed up. It warns me that it will delete everything and create a dynamic disk - which won't work since I am on a laptop (incompatible with OS).

Right now I am stuck with a ~368GB NTFS drive (original), two 32GB Fat32 drives (only one of which Xbox 360 recognizes), and ~270GB Unallocated.

Anyone have suggestions where I could ultimately revert back to one 32GB Fat32 partition, and the rest allocated under the original NTFS?

Any suggestions or direction is much appreciated!

The 32GB limit is unique to Windows XP. XP would arbitrarily limit a FAT32 volume to 32GB. You can format the entire drive to FAT32 if you use a 3rd party program.

Thank you xpcman! Took a little trial and error to undo everything I had caused, but it the program was incredibly easy and helpful.
