Images not pressent in Normal view

Hello,
When I put some images into a word document, the just disapear in the normal view.
Those pictures are only viewable with WEb-layout or PRINT-layout

How can I make them viewable into the NORMAL screen ?
If I put them into a doc without wraping text arround it, it works for the normal view to.

From what I've been able to find out, you can't do this in MS Word...nor in OpenOffice. the only way I've been able to add an image to a printed document is to use Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, although I'm sure some of the other graphic design programs will allow you to do this as well.
