P.S what is the differeence between "downloading" and "buying" songs from itunes?

| 46 washedup, on Aug 5, 2009 3:53:44 am BSTI'm no expert but perhaps the tunes on the windows player are in the .wma format. I'm not sure, but it could be that the ipod won't recognize that format as it belongs to windows. I believe that itunes prefers their own .aac format, but they probably also use the almost universal .mp3 format. If your tunes aren't mp3 you could try some mp3s and see if that works.
