Adobe flash player on mac?

Hello,

I've been trying to install Adobe Flash Player on my mac and it wont' install properly. I used to have an older version, but it stopped working and now I cannot view many websites or videos on my computer.

Any suggestions?

Configuration: Mac OS X
Safari 523.12.2

download adobe flash player from here and install it after uninstalling he old

Ive clicked on the link but it keeps on trying to open with powerpoint.
