Sorry.................I was away 4 a while. Chances r u have a virus that's blocking your Anti-Virus in stall. Try this: Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware using a friend's PC. Once downloaded, change the Setup file name 2 anything u choose. B sure it's something simple u can remember. Now, transfer the file via flash drive or other movable media. Install on your PC, then run setup. If u can't update, don't worry. Just run a quick scan. Remove anything it finds....Reboot your PC. Now try running the update manager. When it updates, run a full system scan. Again, remove anything it finds. 4 future protection, download and install AVG Free Anti-Virus. It's free and it works a lot better than most Anti-Viruses.
