Hello,
After getting surrounded by vundo viruses, (which I was able to clean) my "all programs" button disappeared.
I go to Start button but then the all programs button is not there, I was able to get all the other Icons but I can not figure out how to get this one back on the start menu.

Now, when I try to edit the registry I get message "The registry editting has been disable by your administrator". To beging with: I don't have any other account configured in my PC. Second - I don't have a network. Third - I had run Norton AV, Advance Windows Care, Superantispyware, run the sfc /scannow command, also did windows update and who knows what else I had run and all these programs do not find any errors.

So I need your help guys, with two issues, the registry will be one and how to get the "all programs" icon back.

Please, any help is very much appreciated...

Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

This is probably a problem with windows and i would recommend that you just try to repair the windows registry and after that see what happens

Guys I will not have access to my PC for the next few days but during this time I believed you can access your start menu by changing the look to classic. I have my programs there.

Thanks

Hey man go to this site http://www.pchell.com/support/registryeditordisabled.shtml scroll down to the link that says "download Registry Tools VBScript" Download it to your desktop and run it. Then reboot your computer and try to run the resgistry editor. It should work it worked for me.
