Touchpad tapping not working, Acer 5100

Hi my touch pad works to move the curser around but I cannot tap toopen things

go to your control panel
then click the 'Printers and other Hardwares' --> Mouse
you can see tab buttons on top of the box, click the 'Device Settings'-->
Settings-->Tapping
check the box saying 'enable tapping'
then press ok..
that's it... hope this helps :)
