Help!!! My internet pages do not display.

Hello,

My computer has window Xp but recently when i log to the internet it takes a while to display the home pages "Yahoo" but it wont' refresh and if i try to go somewhere else it tells me that the pages cannot be displayed. I have tried anything i can think of but nothing works, i get this message that says that there is little or no connectivity i have called my internet provider because i thought that was the problem, but they tell me that the internet connection is fine. Please help i'm loosing my mind... It all seemed to stop working when i downloaded Avast Anitvirus.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Uninstall Avast and Restore XP to a date and time prior to your Avast install.

Hey

ur anti-virus may have a firewall blocking internet access - try checking those settings before u restore
