Cannot access google or other search engines

Hello,
I cannot access Google, Ask, Altavista, Dogpile, or any other search engine. I have internet access to multiple other web sites without problems. It seems that certain sites are not available. My son can route through to Google through his AIM line, but none of th regular methods work: ie. www.google.com or www.ask.com the answer back is the server or site cannot be found. I have also attempted to "ping" google and get back an answer of 100% lost data. My IP will ping and www.timezone will ping. I have loaded, reloaded several differnt anti-viral and internet security programs. Presently running PANDA 2009 Internet Security Suite.

Open to suggestions.
