I have a problem with my China-made clone phone of a curve 8900. Everytime someone sends me an SMS it doesn't register a name. I figured out that i need to put a +63 (country code of the Philippines - where I'm from) as a prefix for all my contacts so it registers their name when they send an SMS.
However now that they have +63 in my phonebook, whenever someone calls me, it doesnt register since it shows that they're calling without the +63 prefix.
ex: when SMS it's registered as +63917 777 77 77 but when it's a call it's 0917 777 77 77
This is a common problem that is experienced with clone mobile phones. Please contact the manufacturer to have clear information and perhaps the solution to it.
