My pendrive can not format

Hello,
my pendrive can not formatted or the data can not deleted.
when i try to perform formatting option ,the write protected access message is desplayed.
so pls hlp me

Insert it in another pc 4 eg:your relative or smthin
dont dont open just go straight to my computer and format it thats how i did it

Hi,
Due to WriteProtectOption in Registry,it does not allow your pendrive to format.So You follow

1.Go to Run->regedit
2.MyComputer->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control -> StorageDevicePolicies
3.Delete the StorageDevicePolicies in Your Registry.

Now You can format the Pendrive

Hi
i have gone throw that but i did not find StorageDevicePolicies

Can u please tell me where i have to find StorageDevicePolicies .
1.Go to Run->regedit
2.MyComputer->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CurrentControlSet->Control -> StorageDevicePolicies
3.Delete the StorageDevicePolicies in Your Registry.

Hi,

i got the same problem i cannot access my pen drive or even format it again I've tried almost all recommendation from the goggle search and blogs like file recovery tools etc.. ive tried all programs that ive downloaded the only thing i got benefited is that i recovered all my file in the pen drive but im still disappointed coz i still cant use my 8gb pen drive . whewwww i lost to much time. i want my 8gb pendrive back...
is there someone there that could help me or should i just give it up?

Fine i will help you out

case:1 > take two pieces of wire
case:2 > attach to the 15v battery
case:3 > then keep the pendrive there connected with wire and battery for just 5 seconds not more than that

IIf u cant formate your pen drive u go on dos and formate G: drive. in this way u can formate your pen drive and remove virous.(watt &volt computer- aanjana03yahoo.com)

it'll work.

Yes I'm running as administrator @intel core duo E7200 , its has been corrupted from i dont know...
i haven't tried formatting to LINUX OS yet but hoping for friends LINUX user maybe it would help... thanks anyway..

I had the same issue.. nothing could fix it. even had a technician to my house to fix it and he just recommended buying a new USB stick...
