Hello,
i have a creative webcam VF-0040 and am useing vista i can not find anything on the net that i can download to use this cam. if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Sorry. I'm afraid Creative never provided any Vista driver for VF0000 series.

i saw that in february you were looking for a cd driver for your creative vf0040 .
well i have the same problem . i have the sme cam and i dont have the box nor cd for it.. so if you got a reply on that message , would you please send me the link .

To get the driver for ur VF-0xxx Creative Webcam use this link ftp://vieuxpc.homeftp.net/Creative_Cam_VFxxxx_Win_98-Me-XP.z­ip just changing xxxx to ur webcam number.

We have a creative webcam c/w microphone Model # creative VF 0350

there were some intermittant problems suggest you look at the start menu Under control center

and ensure the camera appears in the folder under scanners and cameras and uncheck the message beside the camera otherwise the unit is disabled

also look at the start menu and open the system icon anl look and push the at the device manager button
and click on the imaging device listing the camera should be listed in this listing

otherwise the software may require reloading

Just go to this llink http://support.creative.com/Downloads/welcome.aspx and then once your there, you will see a spot that says enter the cam model number. out in your cam model number and then you should be able to down load. I was having the same problem and it work fine for me!!!

I encountered this problem tonight using a Creative web cam VF-0050 that I hadn't used since I upgraded from an XP machine to one running 64-bit Vista. Wasn't working at all, so I tried installing in "Compatability mode" which was suggested in another thread. After that, the "Creative Web Cam" application was opening up just fine, but still nothing I could do would get me past the driver issue. Finally noticed this "Creative WebCam Live! x64 driver 2.00.06.0000" from 2005, I suppose for 64-bit XP, downloaded it and next thing my computer recognized the camera... Checked it in Yahoo Messenger to be sure the web cam was detected and working there and all is swell. Found that driver download here: http://support.creative.com/... Live!&subCatName=Live!
