Using galaxy spica (I5700) as modem

Hi,
i have recently purchased a samsung galaxy spica and to my surprise it doesn't have an inbuilt modem (it cant be used as modem).
Anybody would help me how can i turn my device a workable modem to access internet on my laptop using this phone.

dude download a software called pda net from android market. den it will give u alink and down load dat link software of same name in your laptop then u can easily use it as modem. . i tried it myself. . .

Well i have fixed it and the answer is EasyTether available in the android market for free..so anybody who now wants to get net on the laptop thru phone (android version 1.5) should download EasyTether and follow the instructions.

hi ashok..if you have an android handset..do the following:
go to android market
type easytether in the search box
download easytether
you will get all the instruction to configure your compute
try this and let me know.

Hi there,

It can be used as modem on your laptop,you need to install pc suite on your laptop and then connect phone and laptop by usb cable and make dial up connection using settings provided by network provider.

also don't forget to disable USB mass storage option
