Booting very slow

Hello,
Hi i have one system that is booting very slow more than thirty minutes getting to load the desktop only.
i m trying to open task manager but it is not opening. and hard disk shows busy sign
but it is running smoothly in safe mode.
plz help

Can you tell me what hardware configuration do you have on your pc?

or else it may be coming due to infections from viruses and i would recommend that you get a software called superantispyware from www.superantispyware.com and then see what happens to the pc

I had the same problem and after trying a bunch of other stuff I found out that it was a registry error, as it was explained to me... windows looks for software that is no longer there because the registry key is still there or it is corrupt

Windows will take a full 30 seconds per registry key before it moves on. So yo u need to clean the registry, remove the orphaned files and fix the corrupt ones, here is a source for more info - http://registry-repair-program-reviews.com
