Batery is not charging

Hello,
I bought my laptop the last weekend. So i am not sure what is happening with the batery because it shows 3 % aviable of energy and i need to plug to start the laptop, if not it wont turn on. because it doesnt have enought batery.
Also, when the laptop is turn on it just not charging automatically.
I dont know what i did... or what happend.
Please...if you can help me...i will reallly appreciate.

Dear madam

The only thing that, i don't know is that when did you buy your laptop but if you bored it from someone else it is obviours that the battery is dead, so the only thing to do is to buy another one, but if you bored it from the manufacture which means that there was a problem during the time when they design it, so you have a right to return it to its manufacture so that you can find another one, but if only your laptop is in guarantee.

I had the same problem. I had a warranty from dell so i called them up and got sent a new charger and it works again
