Hello, does anyone have a problem with the black ink cartridge chamber of the HP J5780 all-in-one printer? Mine broke after 10 months of light use. It no longer holds the black ink cartridge firmly. As soon as I close the printer, I can actually hear the cartridge being ejected. If the color and black ink cartridges are not properly inserted in this model, you are dead in the water. You get a cartridge jam error notice and you can do nothing. So instead of an all-in-one printer, I have a NONE-in-one printer. I returned the printer to HP who have replaced it 4 times so far with "remanufactured" replacements. But guess what? Every single one of the 4 is broken with the same black ink cartridge problem! Yet HP claims this is not "a known issue" with the J5780. Right. I have asked for my money back since the printer is still under warranty. No way. I have asked for a voucher for a new HP printer in the same price range. No way. I have asked for another model of HP all-in-one. No way. The only thing HP will do is continue to send me broken printers until the warranty expires. HP customer service is the worst I have ever encountered in my life. They could not care less about customer satisfaction and the way it could increase their business. They just don't want to spend one thin dime fostering on the customer. I will never purchase another HP again and I hope all of you do not either. The quality of their products and their customer service stinks!

Thanks for the advice and for making me feel better, Mike. So far you and I are the only two who have anything negative to say about the HP J5780, which I find unbelievable. I mean HP sent me 4 (!) replacements with the exact same black ink chamber problem! I think everyone else who bought one last year should expect the worst. I'm trying to get a credit from MasterCard.

I agree with you. Hp has THE worst customer service I've ever encountered. I have the J5780. 1 month after warranty ran out, I began having paper jams, cartridge errors, computer wouldnt recognize, etc. I called HP, no help at all. I could barely understand the people I spoke with (very strong accents) all they could tell me was to send it in for repair, or pay HP for phone help. I have always had HP printers. They never seem to last more than a year. I AM DONE WITH HP. THEY CAN HAVE THEIR CHEAP CHINA MADE CRAP.

Ne, I learned something new about HP since my original post. All of their printers are made to last only to print "x" number of pages. When that point is reached, they will break. And if you use an HP printer heavily, you could reach that threshold in less than a year! So HP puts zero effort into making a quality product that they can be proud of. HP strive to manufacturer printers that will break so that they can sell you a new one! I am disgusted beyond belief that I got taken by them. If you phone to complain often enough, you will get transferred to a lovely guy named Ray at HP Customer Service in Canada. He will promise you that he wants to make you a satisfied customer, but all he will do is send you the same broken computers with the same broken black ink compartments and tell you that this is not a known issue with the J5780. In the end, I dumped the almost brand new printer at the county recycling center. And I tell everyone who mentions buying a new printer about my HP experience. I now have a Canon laser printer that I am quite pleased with. No more inkjets for me--and no more HP!

Mine is the J6400, I had replaced the black ink and it could never "align" properly afterwards, thought it might be the black ink cartridge (I had even tried to manually print in grayscale only) everything prints out red. I purchased a new black cartridge (another new one) and still have the same problem. Anyone else having the problem with the J6400?

Hi Pat, I am contacting you as a last try. I have the Officejet J6400 and just took it out of the box after about a year of it just sitting packed up. Put in two new cartridges. Set everything up and it WILL NOT ALIGN THE CARTRIDGES!!!

I have gone online for help, tried to call HP. Finally I found your post from July that vaguely sounded like it was the same as my problem. Did you ever get it to align. If so, please take pity and answer me with some help. Otherwise, this printer is going into the back yard and I am going to blow it up!!

You might as well cut to the chase and just blow it up in the backyard. Save yourself any further aggravation with HP. The cartridges will never align. And now I know that they will break even if they have sat in the box and never been plugged in! I am disgusted beyond belief that I got taken by them. In the end, I dumped my almost brand new printer at the county recycling center. And I tell everyone who mentions buying a new printer about my HP experience. I now have a Canon laser printer that I am quite pleased with. No more inkjets for me--and no more HP!

This substance is used to treat male impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction or simply ED. As mentioned, it works on the penis blood vessels, by dilating them and allowing the necessary blood inflow for a good erection. My wife love it .:-

All,

Actually, when I try to find something that makes me inform on how to deal with such product, I always try to search in King Google, but unfortunately, I forgot about this f**ckn cartridge issue until I bought a new f**ckn one.

First and foremost, I think HP customer center don't waste time to resolve this evolving and business-breaking problem issues so they decide to release a multi-series of model without concern.

Second, they try to form a new set of technology which is semi-disposable device.

Third, they are the most poor service nation wide.

I keep silent by myself month after month after month.......But what happen?

All I mentioned here is a general collection of negative feedback elsewhere in every bit of single page from individuals....
