Files locked and cant be unlocked

Hey there,
I locked some files up using an ecrypting software and now asking me to get the full version. I tried to hard remove the software in the program files but this doesn’t work neither. Any idea how can I get back the data I put on it please?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Unless you have an inside connection at the National Security Agency you can't read those files.

Can you copy the files to another computer (via USB thumb drive) and then download another FREE copy of the encryption program to the 2nd PC - decrypt them and save back to the thumb drive?

Hi,

One possible solution I found, bit long winded probably. Dual boot your computer with Ubuntu, or possibly use ubuntu in a virtual machine. Ubuntu just recogized my drive, and I was able to just copy my files onto my NTFS windows xp partition with no trouble at all :

from ubuntu terminal :

sudo mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdb1 (or whatever ur dev is) /media -o force

then

sudo nautilus

and copy ur files from there.

Hope thats some help. Worked for me anyway, like I say tho may b a long winded solution.

Hey try getting a decrypting key to help you. if it doesnt then you just have to get the full version. good lack
