Want to connect the wireless connection

Dear All.

I'd like to make connection to the wireless network.I m in the range of wireless when I used laptop.With Laptop I can use wireless connection very well.Now I have Desktop PC with Windows XP ,i cant connect to wireless connection.So what additional devices do i need to install or do I need to use wireless router or wireless access point or wireless adapter ? Please guide to "how to do ".

You need to add a wireless card to the desktop. You can buy either a card that installs inside the computer or an adapter that plugs into your USB port. They will come with software and instructions.
