Desktop icons disappeared and task manager is

Its almost a week now,im facing this problem... all desktop icons have disappeard and the task manager is disabled. When i go to the start menu, there was a log off and turn off options,but this time the turn off option have gone. And when switch on my laptop,there is a notepad that keeps coming everytime i log on...and it keeps writing words,i dont know what language is that. So guys,i reaaly need your help...plz im waiting for your help to get things inline.
