Flashing a bios

Hey guys can you tell me whether flashing a bios is recommended or not please? Also if the bios is not well flashed what is the negative effect? Will it fry my motherboard?

If the flash fixes a problem you have then do it. Otherwise DON'T. More harm can come than good. You could end up with a dead BIOS = dead Motherboard = dead computer. Why take the risk.
