Does google desktop slow a pc ?

Hey there,
I like using google desktop and have used it to make many researches but I have heard that it slows down my pc a lot and I wanted to know if its true? I have noticed that those days my laptop is being more and more slow is it the google desktop which caused that?Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.3

Hi there,
Windows will become cluttered after some times and disk defragmenting is important in that case and if you don’t know how to do that then repost an add here and ill explain to you how to do that.

Try a registry fixer like http://registryfixer.weebly.com

finds and repairs registry errors, missing files and most minor problems which when all working together can seriously slow down your pc/laptop

Hi,
GDS was fine for months until it suddenly wasn't, made the pc so slow it was unuseable while it was loaded.
I used the tweakgds plugin to delete the index and start again and it cleared the problem.

I DOWNLOADED GOOGLE BECAUSE I WAS VERY DISSATISFIED WITH AOL. AS IT RAN SLOWER THAN MOLASSES IN JAN. HOW EVER GOOGLE ALSO RUNS VERY VERY VERY SLOW. AND I SEE THAT 68,000 PEOPLE HAVE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION. SO HOW ABOUT AN ANSWER WHY DOES GOOGLE RUN SO DAMN SLOW. AND IT IS GOOGLE AS ALL OTHER WEB SITES RUN JUST FINE.
