Is it Possible to repair Pendrive???

Hello,
I bought a pendrive 8 GB,1 month later,when i put it on the PC,it is telling me that it not recognized .
i even have information on it but the only option it is giving me is FORMAT .
when i click on it ,it saids can not be FORMAT.

Is there any way to get my information back and do something and the pendrive will start working again?

i will be glad and very happy to hear your suggestions.

and run chkdsk command,,,
PLEASE CHECK THE SYSTEM
RAW,,FAT,,NTFS,,

Hai...
actually i'm having the same prob
my pendrive at first says it is not recognised
then,my desktop cant even detect my pendrive
both pendrive is kingston 1gb n 4gb
i need my dcmnts in it very much
do u get ur answer or solution 4 it

pls...pls send it 2 me if u got

Hi,

Try scanning with some good antivirus. If possible try with more than one antivirus. A few days back one client of ours approached me with a similar problem. She had a 8 GB new pendrive with just one single file on it. But she could neither open it nor format it. The problem was that it was virus infected and the antivirus on her PC couldn't detect or clean it. I scanned it another PC with different antivirus. It removed the virus and I could open the pendrive and also formatted it after retriving the data on it.

Try scanning with some good antivirus my pendreve is show the computer but its not work proprly i am formating the pen drive so computer do not show the pen drive and i am open the pen drive but its no opened
every time its show please inseart a disk into drive

I used data doctor to recover my files then hp format utility drivekey on my easydisk 8 gig drive they both worked fine
