Your hd files can only be recovered using programmes such as "recovery wizard" etc.
but things like these are only used by companies really, not the home user.

Hi guntur,

You can restore all your data from your formatted or re-formatted hard drive. follows these steps to get back your data--
Step1: First download demo version of Recover Data for Windows Data Recovery software from http://www.recoverdatasoftware.com/recover-windows-files
Step2: Install the software on working windows machine [Please do not install on formatted or re-formatted hard drive ; it is chances to overwrite the files, so ignore installation on damaged or formatted hard drive.]
Step3: Attach your formatted or re-formatted hard drive as a secondary drive
Step4: Open Recover Data for Windows Data Recovery software
Step5: Software display the hard drive in left pane; Select the hard disk and press Next button.
Step6: Follow on screen instruction

Now you can find your appropriate file...

In this stage if you want to save your recovered file, you need to purchase the software in USD69

Hello, i recently had to do a system restore and after the process the user accounts were reset. Well, now all my media files, music, and docs in that my doc. folder are missing or hidden. I know that they're there, because when i check the storage diagram in the preferences menu for my hard drive it shows that the same amount of storage space is being used... if the files were all erased and gone then wouldn't there be more empty space. i use my computer for work and i had mostly media files on it mostly pics for art work, projects, such and such... there is really alot of art on my computer (about 60%) and i really need it so it's hard for me to just to let it go and reformat my harddrive.

please kindly help

You can use places like this one: www.df-llc.com I had them do a data recovery for one of my servers and they where able to get EVERYTHING back for me (even after I accidentally formated the drive...) Even though it cost a couple hundred bucks it was well worth if for me. You might be able to get them to move on there price but they did right by me so it was worth every penny!

Yes you can recover data from the corrupted or damage hard drive. You can also recover data from the formatted hard drive. For that you can free download data recovery for mac software. it recovers your lost data in the same structure.
