Atm without looking into anything,
as soon as you get that message,

go to start>run>cmd>"shutdown -a"

see what happens, if it does abort it, then find out the problem and get the solution!

Hey there, there's obviously something wrong with your system. What I suggest is putting shutdown -a in your startup file. <drive>:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
then make a batch file (open notepad, type shutdown -a) then file > Save As > Go and change the bit at the bottom to All files, not (*.txt) then type shutdownabort.bat, place it in your startup folder and the shutdown will be aborted on logon.
!! Please do not reply to this, I am a guest on the site !!

Try
shutdown -a -f -t 05
-f shuts down all process running ....
(05 is time in seconds )
save it in notepad and save then as extension bat file or type in command prompt.....

I had this one too and i think that you are right it is a blast worm. The best is to get rid of it but you might also need to format your pc if this problem persists

RegCure, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and the Symantec Blaster-worm fixer didn't solve the problem.

Any other suggestions?
