Wireless router

Hello,
I have a wireless router 192.168.1.1 wrt54G

I am opertaing thru the router at this time .. my second computer shows no connection and no icon....when I look in the programs no linksys shown.......I know the router is working other wise I could not use this computer...
When I lookin the my (MY computer ) on my other desk top where I am trying to get the internet.....it shows
linksys drive in the C drive........I have follow instructions and still can not get the second computer to connect to the wireless.......What am I doing wrong?

well have you just checked a simple thing whether the driver for your ethernet card is correctly installed?

you can check that in the device manager options or else what you can do is to try to get in the networking options and fron there just check if you see an active connection
