Hello,
Can anyone help. My daughter has been on my laptop and the screen has gone black with the message s disk read error has occurred...press ctrl alt del to restart. We do that and it trys to restart then we get the same screen again...

Call Dell support they can walk you thru running the Diagnostics and utilities CD.

Hi
i tryed to install buletooth device in my computer with the cd come with,but it doesn't work when i setup it .it turn to installetion for along time and no change ,i cancelt this process and i don't know how to install it and make it play.plz can you help me,what can i do,is this lap cotain microsoft office or not.

Just install the blue tooth driver of DELL inspiron 1525, the file extract in drive C:, then open the Dell folder in driver c, C:\drivers\r140135\3100_216\win32\inst.exe....
jst follow instruction to complete installation....
let me know if you successfully install your bluetooth device drive...

I tried to install the bluetooth driver for my inspiron 1525 with win xp. but whenever i tried to install the driver im having a message "Activate Bluetooth by pressing fn+f10".
i tried that but nothing happened.
i hav bought ma laptop 8 months ago.i had never used the bluetooth facility in it.
pls help me!!!!!!

Hey as u told that ur computer asks u to press Fn+ F10 key........
I guess u should firstly turn on ur bluetooth button which is at rightside beside DVD-RW and then press those buttons also if that button don't work then go with Fn+ F2..............

Somebody says bluetooth is optional for inspiron 1525.
but i have three items in my device manager named "base system devices" under no driver category.
i suspect that it may b the bluetooth device.

Dell inspiron doesn't have bluetooth... what you can do is buy on-line the drive bluetooth 355 from dell. it's going to cost you 23,oo.. then you install the bluetooth inside of your laptop.... if you don't know how to do it ... tell me on this e-mail vlmtjfs@hotmail.com and I'll send you pics or video to teach you how....
obs. I have the same problem and same laptop inspiron 1525... the drive is going to arrive 2day for me..



NOTE: the bluetooth light that you have in your laptop doesn't indicate bluetooth...
bluetooth is optional...

This is krishna I too have the same laptop at the right side corner there will be apush up button that enables your bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

So i just took apart my dell inspiron 1525, and when i was trying to figure out how to clean the fan i saw a wire that said bluetooth on it, one end was plugged in to the out put and the other end wasnt plugged in to anything, i could find an input area, i have been searching and there isnt anything that mentions anywhere about an unplugged wire
