You can try this :

In start / execute : Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> 11.0 -> Delivery
You should have this key 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9
clik on it and (at the right of your screen), right clik on CDCache key.
and type 0 as new value

and open office file. if any message click ok. and again reopen office file.

Dear Dinesh,
That was absolutely wonderful of you to have suggested the resolve. It worked perfectly alright. I just wanted to know the technical explanation for it and why do we change the value.

Hi, you seem to have the answers. In the registry, i'm coming up with a slightly different name - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Delivery\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}
Should I change it? i actually tried changing the 1s to 0s, but it still didn't work
thanks
