Cant Get DVD player SOny to run

Hello, I have a question about my Sony DVD player when i try to load a disc it will start to load freeze up and say i havent put in a disc. Its about 4 years old and i dont know the model has this happend to anyone before?

yes i have the same problem. some dvd's will play fine but some will not. when i put it in it will say loading for a second and then say play for a second and then play goes away and then it does nothing. then it wont eject unless i turn it off for about 5 seconds and then hit eject. of course the dvd will play on my other players but not on my sony. it is 4 years old also.

hello, i cannot acess my sony dvd player, when i am putting the dvd in the driver it cannot acess and the promt is coming that window cannot read this discs,the dics might be corrupted or window cannot support the format
