Unable to boot my xp sp1

Hello,
i m nk n i m having probelem with my xp booting. I installed ubuntu first and then xp sp1. All are going normaly but i tried to change my boot priority for easy booting and restored default setting on bios. After that i failed to boot my xp. An error message encounter with some technical info. *** stop: 0X0000007B like. I tried everythng. Lastly i tried to reinstall xp. It shows hard disk not properly connected. Please help me. Any suggestions realy apreciable.

what model of computer .....
that error relates to the hdd not being seen by bios.
you are going to need third party drivers to reinstall the hard drive.

had the same issue a while back. installed drivers at the third party drivers phase of install and went through ok.
