Hey there,
My problem is that I cant start my pc on safe mode as the computer will just shut down by itself before completing start up and will just continue in this cycle. A message will just appear and tells me that it will shut down to protect itself. It also checks for adequate memory or bios updates.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Well you could try pressing F8 continuesly during start up before that the windows logo appears then you'll have a list of options like run in the safe mode or using command prompt ....
or F2 if F8 doesn't work
else
reply to me and tell me what happens so I could help you more !!!
