Internet sharing using crossover connection

Hello,

i have 2 pc connected using crossover cable. one pc have 2 LAN card, one LAN is connected to internet and second connected to other pc using crossover.my problem is i can't share the internet to the other pc which is connected by crossover cable.only file can be share..
anyone can help me?..
both pc using xp

U can use Proxy server. Download it from Internet then install it one pc on which internet is connected.
and at nother pc just go to properties of Internet Explorer-connection-lan settings-Give ur IP of the system on which internet is connected and in port fiels write 808.

it should be connected.

Or u can also share ur net connection.

Nuero, make sure you set the default gateway for the network connection for the PC which does not have Internet as the IP address of the PC which does have Internet.

Also, i think in the properties on the Internet-connected PC there should be an option to "Allow others on the network to connect through my internet connection" which should be enabled.
